Fresh off announcing the release date for Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, Disney+ has shared the first trailer for the upcoming 10-episode series.
Arriving on Aug. 17, She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany, who’s largely known for playing multiple characters in hit BBC series Orphan Black, in the titular role.
The series will also see Mark Ruffalo reprise his role as Bruce Banner aka The Hulk. Ruffalo replaced Edward Norton in 2012’s The Avengers, and has since portrayed Banner in 2013’s Iron Man 3, 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
Tim Roth, who appeared in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, will return as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, while the rest of the show’s cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Jameela Jamil, among others.
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter back in October, Roth revealed how Ruffalo helped convince him to return to the role of Abomination.
“I did The Incredible Hulk years ago, just because I thought my kids would be embarrassed by it,” he shared. “I did it for them and I really enjoyed making it. So when they came to me and said ‘We’re adapting the She-Hulk thing. Can you come back as that character again?’ I was like, sure.”
Roth added, “It should be fun. I was very surprised though because it was difficult at first. It was only when Mark Ruffalo came in to shoot his stuff that I went ‘Oh, that’s how you do it! With a sense of humor!’”
