CARDI B has opened up about her rocky relationship with rapper Offset in her newest interview.
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known as Cardi B, dove into the dynamic between her and Offset, 32, and where they stand in their marriage.

The two have been on and off for seven years, with Cardi, 31, even filing for divorce in 2020.
While recently being featured on the June cover of Rolling Stone, the Bodak Yellow rapper was asked about her and Offset’s current status.
“We do love each other. It’s not even about love. We’re best friends,” she said.
“And it’s like, ‘OK. Well, there was a time that I didn’t have a best friend, or I didn’t have a support system.’
“It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ How do you stop talking to your best friend?” she questioned.
The rappers share two young children: Kulture, 5, and Wave, 2.
She went on to explain that her career will always come first and her kids will always be second, emphasizing that other factors of her life are always put before her marriage.
She even said that most times, it feels as if she puts her relationship last.
“We’re from two different worlds,” she said of her and the Migos member.
“Sometimes I cannot be … not that I cannot be a wife. It’s just like, my career takes my life.”

Most recently, the couple appeared to be on good terms as Offset gifted the Up rapper a diamond necklace on Mother’s Day.
The two also attended a Met Gala afterparty together just the week before.
On Valentine’s Day, Cardi and Offset were seen having a romantic date, where the rapper’s lipstick appeared to be smudged.
The spotting came just months after Cardi had ranted on Instagram Live and X, bashing Offset for playing with her feelings during a vulnerable time.

“A motherf**ker will play in your f**king face over and over and over and over again and still be like, ‘Watch. Watch what I’m about to do. Watch what I’m about to say,'” she said through tears.
She claimed he did her dirty after she had helped him for so many years.
“He knows that I’m chilling. He knows I’m not doing the most, and I really been sparing you. I really been sparing you,” she continued.
ROCKY RELATIONSHIP
In 2017, Cardi and Offset tied the knot in a casual home ceremony, in which they both wore sweatpants.
Cardi then moved to Offset’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia; however, she said she never enjoyed living there.
A few months after giving birth to Kulture in 2018, Cardi accused Offset of infidelity and filed for divorce in September 2020.
Cardi said it was due to irreconcilable differences rather than cheating.

She later called off the divorce and said the couple planned to work through their issues.
The two went on to welcome their second child, son Wave, shortly after.
Last summer, the tumultuous relationship hit new heights as Offset accused Cardi B of cheating in a now-deleted Instagram post.
She hit back and urged fans not to pay attention to the allegation.
Blueface then accused Offset of sleeping with his ex, Chrisean Rock, later in 2023, which the Migos rapper quickly denied.
It didn’t take long for Cardi B to declare she was officially single in another Instagram Live following the accusations.
“I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now,” she said while discussing the rumor.
She said she wanted to enter 2024 “fresh” and “open,” adding that she was “curious about a new life.”
Despite some uncertainty, Cardi is set to release a new album later this year, Rolling Stone confirmed.
