Bailey tells the story of the Thompson Twins’ 1984 album Into the Gap, as well as their 1994 album The Stone, exploring how the band shifted and evolved between the two releases. He also touches on the need for nonconformist and outsider art, and feeling like current rock lacks social impact.
The artist also previews Totally Tubular Festival, a fest designed for ’80s alternative lovers. In addition to the Bailey, the event features Modern English, Men Without Hats, The Romantics, Bow Wow Wow, and more. Learn more and get tickets here.
