Allison Russell has announced a new slate of tour dates, a continuation of headlining appearances supporting her latest release, The Returner. The tour will kick off in Burlington, Vt. on Oct. 25 and consists of 16 dates across the United States, including Webster Hall in New York (Oct. 28), 930 Club in Washington D.C. (Oct. 31), The Vic Theater in Chicago (Nov. 2) and The Fillmore in San Francisco (Nov. 11). On the road, Kara Jackson will be supporting Russell on all of her fall U.S. tour dates.
The jaunt continues into November, following the aforementioned series of East Coast appearances, with a gig at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colo., and ensuing movement West, with stops in South Salt Lake City, Boise, and Portland, Ore., respectively. A pair of California concerts land next, in San Francisco and Los Angeles’ The Belasco, before the final chapter of the run brings Russell to The Lone Star State.
News of added live shows arrives after Russell’s win for “Best American Roots Performance” at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards in February. Moreover, the singer-songwriter, poet, activist and multi-instrumentalist is currently supporting Hozier on his Unreal Unearth Tour. Russell will continue to support Hozier, who is featured on the closing track “Requiem” on The Returner album, through the end of September.
The esteemed artist will also add support to select tour dates for Tyler Childers and Sarah McLachlan on each of their respective tours. In addition to her already packed schedule, Russell will perform at a handful of music festivals this summer, including Newport Folk Festival and Pilgrimage Music Festival.
Tickets for the All Returners tour go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 17. Spotify and Artist presale will happen early this week.
