Reality TV icon Kim Kardashian celebrated the fifth birthday of her youngest child, Psalm, in one spooky way with a Ghostbusters-themed party.
Kardashian hosted the party over the weekend, sharing photos to her Instagram stories. She gave fans a glimpse into the event’s decor and two-tier birthday cake, featuring the franchise’s well-known ghost, Slimer.
Among the decor was a life-size cutout of Pslam as a Ghostbuster. “Ok, Psalm’s Ghostbusters party,” Kim Kardashian shared. “How cute is this? It’s about to start, look at how Psalm is.”
Kardashian’s 8-year-old son, Saint, responded to the remark with, “It doesn’t really look like him.”
Kim Kardashian replied, “Oh, yes it does Saint, come on.”
Other party decor included custom proton packs, slime-making, and beaded bracelet stations. Guests also had nachos with green sauce, fries, and green-and-white desserts like ice cream and custom cookies.
Kim Kardashian Takes to Instagram With Heartfelt Tribute to Son Psalm On His 5th Birthday
Days before the Ghostbuster bash, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to pay tribute to Psalm.
“My baby!” she gushed. “My sweet, smart, silly, independent baby boy turns 5 years old today! I can’t tell you how blessed I feel to be your mom!”
Kim Kardashian then praised Psalm for his “calm energy,” which she says is much appreciated in her house these days.
“You prove you can be the hulk, spider man or an archeologist any day of the week! I’ve never met someone who sleeps more than you do and one day I will show you the entire photo album I’ve made of your sleeps! I love you so much always and forever.”
Kim K Opens Up About Co-Parenting With Kanye West
Kardashian shares Psalm as well as his older siblings North, Saint, and Chicago with ex-husband Kanye West. The reality TV star opened up to Vogue in 2022 about the importance of co-parenting with West. She pointed out that she wanted to be her “co-parent’s biggest cheerleader” in front of their kids.
“You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best,’” Kim Kardashian explained. “Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through.”
However, in late 2022, Kim was brought to tears, stating that co-parenting is “really f—ing hard’ with West. But she still tries to shield her children from online controversy concerning her and her ex.
“If they don’t know things that are being said, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That is real, heavy, grownup s— that they are not ready to deal with,” she explained. “When they are, we will have those conversations. One day, my kids will thank me for not sitting here and bashing their dad. I could.”
Kardashian and West were married from 2014 to early 2021.
