Adam Levine And Wife Behati Prinsloo Dragged To Court By Their Decorator
Kallen filed her complaint against the couple at the Superior Court of California on May 9. She cited Levine, Prinsloo, and their house manager, Sam Schamberg, as the culprits responsible for an alleged incident in March 2023.
At the time, Kallen, an employee of Inner Gardens Inc., a specialty nursery and home decor business, was tasked with placing plants and flowers on the entertainers’ outdoor patio. Levine and Prinsloo also wanted the same done to their second-floor landing.
According to the decorator, the couple failed to provide her with a safe and reasonable means to access, enter, and leave the patio. It also didn’t help that the outdoor landing was adjacent to the master bedroom, making it the only pathway for entering and exiting.

The Decorator Claims She Was Stopped From Using The Master Bedroom Entrance
Kallen noted that she had placed a substantial number of large and small plants in the required areas when the house manager stopped her from using the master bedroom entrance.
Schamberg allegedly told her by text, “Behati (Defendant B.P) is going to lay down in her room [and] make sure no one goes through the bedroom to the patio, ladder access only.”
Kallen noted that Schamberg “had arranged or set up a ladder” beneath the second-floor landing and patio after learning the decorator had no means to come down—unfortunately, this sudden change in plans ended badly for the employee.

The Former Employee Recalls ‘Violently’ Striking The Ground
According to her recollection, Schamberg had “negligently, carelessly, and recklessly” provided and erected an insufficient ladder for Kallen. She noted that she had to step over a railing approximately 42 inches and then walk on the roof to access the ladder.
However, the ladder was too short for her to reach the ground safely, and she remembered hitting her head and body before “violently” striking the concrete ground. This fall allegedly caused severe and traumatic injuries as well as other damages.
Kallen’s list included traumatic brain injury and the loss of her senses of taste and smell. She stressed that she continues to suffer “great mental, physical, emotional, and nervous pain,” which may allegedly lead to a permanent disability.

The Famous Couple May Face A Jury Trial
Levine and Prinsloo may have a jury trial, as Kallen is pushing for such alongside other demands. The decorator is suing for general damages under the California Code of Civil Procedure.
According to this law, she is asking for at least $25,000. Kallen’s list also includes compensation for economic and financial losses, medical and incidental expenses, plus loss of past and future earnings.
She also wants the couple to cover the costs of her negligence lawsuit and requests the court offer her any relief it deems just and proper. The year 2023 was certainly an eventful year for Levine, who also faced fraud allegations on top of his alleged cheating scandal.

Adam Levine Accused Of Breach Of Contract
Last year, the Maroon 5 frontman was slammed in a heated lawsuit by The Change Company. The latter addressed the situation in a lengthy statement, accusing Levine of several misdeeds.
The singer’s crimes allegedly include “fraud, intentional interference with contractual relations, and breach of contract.” The Change Company claimed he tried to extort it and its principals for over $10 million.
He also allegedly threatened to make public false allegations of wrongdoing against The Change Company if it refused to pay his financial demands.
Levine’s alleged crimes didn’t end there, as the company claimed he threatened independent members of the Change’s Board and Advisory Board with false allegations against them and their families.
The Maroon 5 Frontman Allegedly Had A History Of Threatening His Employers
The Change Company noted that Levine had a “history of engaging in threats of extortion against his employers in response to poor performance reviews.”
The company noted he was sued by TPG for a similar extortion scheme in 2015 after it gave him a poor performance review. This case reportedly ended with a federal judge permanently banning Levine from possessing TPG’s confidential information.
The singer was also ordered to return all information he stole from TPG and ensure that all third parties deleted the confidential TPG documents Levine allegedly shared with them.
