Get ready to return to the world of Vin Diesel’s Riddick franchise. The fourth chapter of the series, Riddick: Furya, will begin to film on August 26. It will mark the next tale in the franchise that contains the movies Pitch Black, Chronicles of Riddick, and Riddick. The movie will see David Twohy return as writer and director of the franchise. Diesel, of course, will play Richard B. Riddick.
According to Deadline, in Riddick: Furya, “Riddick finally returns to his homeworld, a place he barely remembers and one he fears might be left in ruins. But there, he finds other Furyans fighting for their existence against a new monster — and some of these Furyans are more like Riddick than he could have ever imagined.”
That sounds interesting enough. We always love a new monster. Of course, we eagerly await the return of Riddick’s signature goggles. Vin Diesel’s Riddick: Furya does not yet have a release date.
