RAVEN Symone has defended her wife Miranda Maday amid fan outrage regarding comments she made about her partner’s acting career.
During a joint April appearance on the Bottoms Up With Fannita podcast, the That’s So Raven star’s wife confessed that she didn’t watch the show while growing up.
“I’m married to her and the fact that I didn’t watch the show was something that Raven appreciated,” she revealed during the interview.
The comments sent fans into a spiral, as many slammed Raven’s wife for “not supporting” her career.
CLAPPING BACK
But Raven, 38, and Miranda, 37, clapped back at the messages in a new video on Friday.
In the clip, the couple sat stone-faced at a table and addressed the camera directly.

The pair accused some of their critics of sending “wild death threats” over the content creator’s confession.
Raven kicked things off by saying in a stern voice, “I’m here with Miranda, my wife, to tell you to stop it with the comments.
“And stop with the death threats in her DMs. It is disrespectful to her, and in turn it is disrespectful to me. Stop it!” she begged.
Miranda then chimed in, saying, “It’s really become wild. I hope to clear the air right now in letting you all know that I never have once said that I didn’t know who Raven was.
“I only ever said that I did not grow up watching That’s So Raven. I did not watch her as a child but since getting married and meeting her in 2015, I have seen the majority of her work,” she claimed.
“I have also been at a lot of this work. So, I mean, backstage at The View, 25 Words or Less, the list goes on and on.
Miranda continued, “I love That’s So Raven. I think she should’ve won all the Emmys. I think my wife is endlessly talented.
“I support her beyond. She also isn’t just Raven Symone to me. You guys must try to open your minds a little bit and there is more behind people who are celebrities.
“There is real life here. And that’s why we’re feeling inclined to address this because I’m receiving so much hate for something that really is just a big spiral of internet misinformation.”
Raven cut in to add, “And for all the blue checks out there acting like trolls, sit down. Just thank you, no need.”
“Thank you, next,” Miranda joked as her wife laughed in response.
MIRANDA’S MESSAGE
While appearing on the Bottoms Up With Fannita podcast recently, the TV star’s wife explained that she didn’t watch That’s So Raven because she thought she was “too old” when the show came out in 2003.
She shared, “I think I was a little too old. My sister who is five years younger than me watched That’s So Raven, loved That’s So Raven, and now that I’ve seen all of it, I love That’s So Raven.”
Fans flooded social media with backlash regarding the comments, one writing, “You should always hype raven up in interviews for her past on disney stop holding it back on her respectfully!!”
“How you don’t know ya wife catalog of music smh,” a second complained.
“Why you hate Raven?” a third scolded.
“Shame on you!!!” a fourth trolled.
Stop with the death threats in her DMs. It is disrespectful to her, and in turn it is disrespectful to me.

DISNEY CHANNEL LOVE
In February, Raven discussed the impact of the Disney Channel original show on the success she’s experienced throughout her career.
“We had such a good time on that show,” she told ET at the time.
“I was the youngest Black female to have a show named after her and never wanted to leave Disney after that, honestly.
“I learned so much… It’s in its own little time capsule. I can’t say anything bad about it.”
