Prince Harry and King Charles will reunite again upon the duke’s arrival in the UK next week. Harry is reportedly eager to see his father again and is understood to have been in contact with him since they briefly saw each other in February.
The father and son are set to attend two separate events in London on Wednesday; however, the locations are just two miles apart, paving the way for the monarch to exchange pleasantries with his estranged son.

Prince Harry And King Charles Set To See Each Other Next Week
The Duke of Sussex is expected to make the transatlantic trip next week, where he’ll be attending the 10th anniversary celebration of the Invictus Games in St Paul’s Cathedral.
According to The Sun, Harry will be reuniting with his father for the second time on Wednesday, after he made a quick run to see him following news of his cancer diagnosis in February.
Charles, on the other hand, will be attending this year’s first Buckingham Palace garden party from 4 pm that day and will reportedly wrap it up around 6 pm, paving the way for him to meet with the prince, whose event held 2 miles away finishes around the same time.
“Harry is normally 5,000 miles away in California but by happy coincidence, on Wednesday they will be just two miles apart,” a source told the news outlet.

The Duke Of Sussex Is Not Expected To See Prince William & Kate Middleton
During Harry’s trip to the UK, the duke will likely not meet with his brother, Prince William, who is expected to be out of the city around that time.
William will reportedly be away from London on Thursday, as he has engagements in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly the next day.
Harry, who would be without the company of his wife Meghan Markle, is also unlikely to meet with his once-beloved sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who’s currently recovering from cancer and is said to be “vulnerable” at this time.
A source told the Daily Beast that the Prince and Princess of Wales are uninterested in mending broken ties with Harry after he left them feeling “betrayed” with his record-breaking memoir, “Spare.”

“They don’t speak to Harry and Meghan [Markle], and they are certainly not about to start when Catherine is at her most vulnerable,” the insider added.

Prince Harry’s Relationship With King Charles Is Growing
Ahead of their potential reunion on Wednesday, Harry’s ruptured relationship with his father has seemingly improved since the monarch was sidelined by cancer.
A source told The Mirror that Harry has “kept in regular contact with his father on several occasions” since then and has made “no secret of his desire to see him when he can.”
The tipster added that Harry “has been especially concerned” about his father and hopes that he “will be well and able to see him as planned” on Wednesday.
Another source who spoke to the Daily Beast shared that William is not moved by Harry’s potential reconciliation with their father, noting that the future King remains adamant about shielding his family from “stressful situations.”
Prince Harry’s Goodwill Message To Kate Middleton Did Not Help Heal Their Rift
The source told the news outlet that Harry’s goodwill message to the Waleses upon Kate’s cancer diagnosis reportedly didn’t translate into a breakthrough in their relationship, noting that he is “just another person who sold his story to the papers.”
“A ‘get well soon’ message is neither here nor there,” the tipster continued. “But the whole situation doesn’t use up a huge amount of their mental energy anymore.”
The source explained that “William and Kate have accepted it and moved on” and that the heir to the throne “respects his father’s wish to reconcile with his son, but his focus now is on protecting his family from stressful situations.”

King Charles Returns To Public Facing Duties
The King has been allowed to return to public-facing duties for the first time since being pulled away from his royal roles due to his ailing health condition.
According to the DailyMail, doctors are “pleased with the progress made so far” and permitted him to return to his public-facing duties; however, he is under strict watch, as they “remain positive” about his full recovery.
“His Majesty The King will shortly return to public-facing duties after a period of treatment and recuperation following his recent cancer diagnosis,” Buckingham Palace shared in a statement at the time.
Charles has since been spotted making a joint visit to the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre with Queen Camilla, where they met medical specialists and patients.
