Julia’s first single is called Down the Drain.
It has the same title as her 2023 memoir.
She first performed Down The Drain at Charli XCX‘s Boiler Room DJ set in February before releasing it to the public.
The song starts out with powerful phrases – labels that have been put on her throughout her career.
“I’m a b***h, I’m a girl, I’m a woman, I’m a whore,” she repeats eight times.
On every other line, the model replaces “woman” with “mother.”
From there, Julia goes on to sing “I’m a menace, not a muse. The baddest f**king drug that you’ll ever use.”
That line could be in reference to her appearance on the podcast Call Her Daddy in 2022.
She was asked how she felt about being then-boyfriend, Kanye’s muse.
“I was Josh Safdie’s muse when he wrote Uncut Gems,” Julia replied.
However, it sounded more like she said the word “jams,” which turned her into a meme for months.
Kanye, 46, and Julia dated for six weeks starting on New Year’s Eve 2021.
Julia co-wrote the song with Ben Draghi, a French experimental music composer living in Brooklyn, New York.
Ben also produced the track.

After Julia dropped the track, she announced it on Instagram.
She told fans that the music video will be out on May 9 and teased a few snippets from it.
Her followers were excited about the release and complimented her in the comments.
“Mooooooooother!!!” one fan wrote.
“On repeat today,” said another follower.
“BOP!” added a third.
“SO GOOD!” said another.
“Mother is mothering,” a fan joked.
“SONG OF THE SUMMER,” many fans declared.
‘DOWN THE DRAIN’
Julia invites the listener to go down the drain with her for three minutes.
“Come with me come down the drain / I’ll be sweet like sugar cane / Come get lost inside my brain / I promise that you’ll go insane / I’m a menace not a muse,” she sings.
The chorus repeats to end the song.
About her memoir and new career, Julia said in a statement, “I’m a firm believer in self-reinvention. The power to transform and become entirely new whenever you choose inspired writing this song and giving life to this idea I’ve had since I began drafting my book.”
