College campuses are on fire across America right now. The political climate is as heated as it has ever been which is deeply troubling considering this is an election year and the tensions will only be ratcheted up further.

With Israel/Palestine protests taking place on campuses from Coast to Coast, the good brothers of Pi Kappa Phi at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill inserted themselves during a protest on Tuesday by sticking up for Old Glory.

Unruly protestors attempted to replace the American flag with a Palestinian flag during the Tuesday protest but the UNC Pi Kappa Phi brothers stood strong and protected the American flag from being taken down. As a show of respect for protecting the American flag, a GoFundMe was organized for the Pi Kappa Phi brothers to help them throw a M.O.A.R. (Mother of all Ragers) and it has already raised over $370,000.

Here they can be seen protecting the flag and singing the Star Spangled Banner while the heated protest erupts around them:

Over 11,200 people have pledged a total of $373,885 as of time of writing. And John Rich from Big & Rich has been in contact with the UNC Pi Kappa Phi bros to get involved:

Hedge fund manager Bill Ackman has pledged $10,000 as have Adam Sinn and John Clark. Another anonymous donor pledged $5,000. And there are a TON of donations in the $1,000 range for these UNC Pi Kappa Phi bros who protected the flag.

The GoFundMe for ‘Pi Kappa Phi Men Defended their Flag. Throw ’em a Rager’ can be found right here for anyone looking to get involved.
