At the age of 98, he became the oldest person to ever be nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award – with one already under his belt.

Throughout his career in the industry, he has received 4 nominations and was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 1995.

On April 19, he received one for being a guest performer in a daytime drama series for his role as Timothy Robicheaux in the iconic soap opera Days of Our Lives.

Earlier this month, The Dick Van Dyke Show star was all smiles while walking out of the Italian Malibu restaurant, Tramonto Bistro.

There, he had lunch with his friends and wife Arlene Silver, 52.

On a sunny Los Angeles day, the movie star walked with a cane in a parking lot.

He looked cozy in a white collared long-sleeved shirt, comfy gray sweatpants, and black slip-on shoes.

As the paparazzi took photos of Dick, he joked around with them.

One photographer asked about the upcoming election and who he was planning to vote for.

In response, Dick said, “I want Abraham Lincoln!”

In 1944, he tried to join the United States Air Force for pilot training during World War Two but was ultimately denied for being too underweight.
