Cara Delevingne’s House Fire Cause Still A Mystery As Investigation Closes

Actress Cara Delevingne‘s LA mansion was gutted by a massive fire last month. Despite their best efforts, the case has now been closed by the LAFD, with no official cause discovered.

The fire department’s statement detailed the extensive firefighting effort, with minor injuries reported.

Last month, a devastating fire engulfed Cara Delevingne’s Los Angeles residence, perplexing local fire investigators.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Fire Department was unable to determine the exact cause of the inferno due to the extensive damage.

With no witnesses or forensic evidence to guide them, the arson squad reached a dead end, and the case was officially closed, though they affirmed no suspicion of foul play.

While no official cause has been discovered, Cara’s parents, Charles and Pandora, speculated that a rogue powerline, exacerbated by strong winds, might have sparked the blaze.

Pandora also shared that Cara was “probably devastated” by the loss of her cherished belongings and mementos. “She had everything in her home. Her whole life,” Pandora said.

Cara, who was away from home at the time, sparked concern on social media when she shared a photo of her two cats in the aftermath, writing in the caption: “My heart is broken today… I cannot believe it.”

“Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have,” she added.

Later, she reassured her concerned audience that her beloved pets were unharmed, writing on her Instagram Story, “They are alive!!”

In a previous statement by the Los Angeles Fire Department, they disclosed that they received an urgent call at approximately 3:57 a.m., reporting the inferno at the $7 million mansion.

Upon arrival, the firefighters were met with a scene of “heavy fire”, as one room was entirely consumed by the blaze which “developed into a deep-seated attic fire,” and it took a team of 94 firefighters over two hours to quell the flames.

“Crews confirmed all occupants were out of the home, and then pulled back into defensive mode due to the long duration of heavy fire exposing the structural members,” the LAFD’s statement read.

Following the harrowing ordeal, reports confirmed that the roof of Cara’s residence had collapsed, yet miraculously, no serious injuries were reported. However, an LAFD spokesperson revealed, “One firefighter was transported to the hospital due to an injury, and one occupant suffered minor smoke inhalation.”

Last September, Cara unveiled her upper arm tattoo crafted by Italian artist Matteo Nangeroni. The intricate dot-work design featured a mask-like, incomplete face nestled within abstract geometric shapes. It was accompanied by the word “dormiveglia” and an incorrect definition of the Italian word that read “The space between the sleeping and walking” instead of “the space between the sleeping and waking.”

Despite efforts to conceal the error, the “Suicide Squad” actress inadvertently revealed the tattoo at the Olivier Awards in London on April 14, wearing a sleeveless Gucci gown.

Keen observers noted a subtle alteration: an additional abstract shape now intersects the original linework, cleverly masking the unnecessary “L” in walking to “waking.”

When Cara unveiled her original tattoo design, artist Nangeroni stepped forward to defend his creation, addressing criticism on Instagram. “Why walk instead of waking? Maybe because everyone has her/his vision,” he explained. “You have so much hate to spread, just relax and enjoy life,” he added.

Cara’s attendance at the Olivier Awards comes as she continues her role as Sally Bowles in the “West End revival of Cabaret,” marking a significant milestone in her acting journey.

In an interview with ES Magazine, she addressed the challenges of being a celebrity performer and candidly discussed the prejudice she faces.

“Even if I did the best I possibly could, and even if that was really good, people are still going to be like, ‘She doesn’t deserve to be here,'” she said. “You know, I auditioned like anyone else [so] it’s just annoying, but I have to tune that out.”
