AGE might be just a number but women often are shamed for dating someone younger than them.
One proud cougar even revealed that she been called ‘damaged goods’ by trolls, but that hasn’t stopped her from dating years younger than her.
Despite the cruel comments, Tara still calls her the ‘CEO of Cougar Watch’.
With her long blonde locks and hourglass, it’s not hard to see why the 50-year-old has countless admirers on social media.
Better known as @tara216000016 on TikTok, she even regularly goes viral with videos about her experiences as an older woman who regularly dates men younger than her.
While she might be regularly trend on the app, not everyone is so positive about her dating life or preferences – even other women.
Even if you just quickly scrolling through her comments, you’ll probably find at least on sexist remark.
One even decided to ‘warn’ other men about the content creator, commenting: “For the young guys. Just hit and run. These women are damaged goods.”
Rather than simply putting up with it, the influencer decided to call the user out in a now viral video.
She pointedly said: “I have not found that to be the case. They would just want to get in there and, you know, do their deal.
“But strangely enough, I can’t get rid of them once I dated them, like they won’t go away.”
While she has plenty of admirers, both on and offline, the content creator then revealed that she was still looking for her perfect match and refuses to settle for anything less.
According to Tara, this means some that is ‘compatible’ with her lifestyle on all level and doesn’t want to waste time now she is ‘old’.
She then hit back at the ‘damaged goods’ comment, saying that she wasn’t looking to settle down with anyone again.
“Now, let’s talk about the damaged goods part of that statement…If you call emotionally stable, financially stable, down to Earth, fun, if you call that ‘damaged goods’…then I’m guilty, ” she pointedly said.
The influencer also admitted that she was confused as to why men always assumed she’d want to marry them.
Tara then told her followers: “That’s not what this is about. Someone to spend time with a companion. Sure. Yeah, but we’re not looking to get wifed up, so you’re safe.”
Thankfully, others in comments seemed to adore the 50-year-old.
“You age like a fine wine,” gushed one fan, with a second saying that the TikTok star was their ‘forever crush’.
Another mature women also comment on the viral video, cheekily writing: “We have so much to offer! We are nurturers, we are sexy, and we can go and go and go. I hope they can keep up with us.”
We just wish we felt this confident when it came to dating.
