RUSSELL Simmons’ daughter Aoki has clapped back at an Instagram troll who accused her of networking her way into Harvard.
Aoki, 21, graduated with a double major as a Bachelor of Arts and Classics in May, 2023.

She recently had a troll come for her in the comments section of her pinned Instagram post.
The post was the cover of her Teen Vogue issue from last year, in which the model posed looking gorgeous on a field of grass.
The same commenter slung various attacks, including, “Everyone knows Harvard is accepting her because of her parents.”

Another was, “She went to Harvard solely because her name.”
Aoki screengrabbed the string of accusations and wrote over them on her Instagram Stories, “Get a job weirdo.”
‘BEAUTY AND BRAINS!’
Aoki attended Harvard and graduated at age 20 with a double degree, meaning she was a freshman at age 16.
Redditors shared snaps of her posing with her diploma, serving cap and gown realness, and her curly locks abounding upon graduation.
“Beauty and brains. Love to see it!” one top comment read at the time.
Another gushed, “LOVE to see a celebrity kid making good use of the amazing educations their parents paid for.”
They added, “I don’t mean her parents bought her way into Harvard lol. I mean she took her secondary school education seriously, and went and worked her ass for a degree where she can flourish now in life. None of this nepotism career in modeling or whatever.”
A third wrote, “Incredible accomplishment!” and a fourth, “Ugh so pretty. Nice to see someone studying classics too. Its a dying field!”
They added, “Good for her getting it done but I will never understand parents who let their kids go to college so early. Being at college at 16 cant be much fun.”
‘BLINK ONCE FOR HELP’
Aoki caused a swirl as she was recently romantically involved with restaurateur Vittorio Assaf, 65.
Earlier this month, the pair were seen making out on a vacation in St. Barts.
The model met Vittorio in St. Barts before they started dating, People reported in April.
The outlet reports that Vittorio is a restaurateur who founded the Serafina Restaurant Group.
Russell‘s youngest daughter referred to him as her “boyfriend” multiple times during an Instagram Live on their idyllic vacation – sparking backlash over their 44-year age gap.
Aoki even revealed he’s the “second boyfriend” she’s ever had while taking fans on a tour of his St. Barts property.
“What’s a little 44-year age difference!” one wrote sarcastically on X, formerly Twitter when the news broke.
“A 65 yr old man? Blink once for help. Twice and we’ll send the cops,” a second posted.
“Girl that man is an old creep. You’re too smart and beautiful to fall for such a classic pattern,” a third user commented.
“Y’all leave this girl alone, she’s only doing what her mother taught her,” someone else accused.
Def Jam mogul Russell married his wife Kimora in 1998 when he was 25 and she was 19.
They welcomed daughters Ming, 24, and Aoki, and the duo called it quits in 2009.
However, not even a week after their relationship went public, it appears the two had split.
On Monday April 9, sources told Page Six they are “absolutely not dating.”
PARENTS’ THOUGHTS
Russell commented on their now-done romance earlier this month.
“I’m not gonna kick and scream about her choices. All I can do is offer my advice and unconditional love,” he told TMZ.
The producer also said his daughter warned him of their relationship a day before the photos of their vacation surfaced.
Kimora appeared to share her frustration over Aoki’s romance with Vittorio with a cryptic post on Instagram.
The former America’s Next Top Model judge, 48, reposted a since-deleted video of a mother panda pulling away her baby cub with her teeth and wrote, “On my last nerve right now!”
FRACTURED RELATIONSHIP
Aoki has had a fractured relationship with her father in the past, previously claiming she had “panic attacks” from him “yelling” at her.
“I was always a daddy’s girl. But he’s been awful to me for years, and that’s just the truth,” she wrote last year amid his feud with his ex-wife and Aoki’s mother Kimora.
“Dad, I stopped talking to you because you were giving me panic attacks to the point I was placed on emergency medication every time we spoke.
“I cannot have a relationship with you until that stops.”
She also claimed he was “not well” and had “threatened and bullied” her sister and grandmother.
