Strijid shared some of her secrets for staying fit for jobs to HollywoodLife. She says that she does a combination of yoga and Pilates. “I do a lot of pilates lately,” she shared. “I feel like that’s really good. And yoga to lengthen your legs out. I’ll try to do it three days a week. It really depends on my work schedule. I just uploaded my YouTube video on how to lengthen your legs.”
Strijd makes sure to eat healthy. She shared her typical diet with HollywoodLife. “Breakfast is toast with avocado and an egg then I’ll probably have a snack around 11, like a nice piece of fruit. Lunch is mostly a good carb, like brown rice with chicken or salmon and some vegetables and then I’ll have a juice in the afternoon. At dinnertime, I’ll make a big salad or pasta — Anything I feel like!”
Whenever Strijd has a big job, like a fashion show, she makes sure to do a lot of workouts leading up to it. “I don’t really cut out any food,” she tells HollywoodLife. “I workout more often so I really need food to build some muscle. I definitely amp up my workouts and workout around 5 days a week for one and a half hours a day.”
Strijd shared her workout secrets in an interview with ELLE. She says that she makes sure to use her abs in all exercises, even when she’s not doing ab exercises. “For abs, I like a little circuit on the mat. With every [exercise], you should always be using your abs—even when you do squats. Try to feel them [with every movement]. I’ve been doing everything myself with ankle weights and resistance bands, and I bring my jump rope when I travel. You can even do it in a hotel room if you have a mat.”
Strijd makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She shared her secrets for staying motivated in her interview with ELLE. “I’m not always motivated, but you just have to go do it because afterwards you feel so great and you enjoy the day more because you’ve done it. So, just start somewhere. Just do something. Say to yourself that you only have 15 minutes or something and then it comes from there.”
