PRETTY Little Liars actress Tammin Sursok, 40, has suffered a major head injury while filming a new video for her social media page.
The star revealed on Thursday she was rushed to the hospital where doctors discovered she’d suffered a concussion.

Tammin, who starred as Jenna Marshall on Pretty Little Liars, shared a photo of herself wearing a neck brace at the hospital.
In her caption, she told fans to “please watch [the] video before this post for reference.”
The clip she mentioned was a parody video of what “newborn photoshoots be like.”
For the video, she wrapped herself in a blanket and rolled around on a bed, pretending to be a baby, until she fell off the furniture.
“I almost went to urgent care bc I landed on my head falling of the bed,” she joked in the caption, but later revealed she did end up having to get medical help after feeling symptoms of a concussion.
In her new post from the ER, she said to her followers, “Things I’ve learnt in the last two days… 1- Concussions can happen doing the stupidest things.
“And when it happens you might have to show or tell the doctor what you were doing. And it could be the most embarrassing moment of your life.”
Tammin went on to warn followers that “concussions can happen 24 hours after you do that stupid thing” and to always watch out for any symptoms.
Later in the caption, the soap opera alum, who worked on The Young and the Restless, shared a few more things she learned from this experience.
“3- CT scans are weirdly soothing and when pumped with anti nausea medication can make you nap,” the 40-year-old actress wrote.
“4- When you have small kids the ER is like a mini vacation,” Tammin, who shares two daughters with her husband Sean, joked.
The fifth thing Tammin realized, she said, is that neck braces make it easier to fall asleep upright and could be a good solution for when she’s trying to nap on the plane.
She finished the caption by thanking her fans for all of their support and to let them know that she’s feeling “slightly better.”
“Just a bruised brain and ego,” Tammin added, before teasing, “And the scan showed I did have a brain. So that’s good.”
Though this post was shared on her Instagram feed on Thursday, the star posted about her hospital visit the day before on her Instagram Stories.
WORKING THROUGH IT
Tammin posted a few videos, including one revealing she had an important meeting soon with the head of a network and planned to attend from her hospital bed.
“I’ve decided to just do it like this,” she said. “Because why not? If they can see you at your worst and love you, then you probably got the job.”
A few hours later, the PLL star updated fans to let them know she was finally back home.
While lying in her own bed, Tammin shared that the doctors found “no bleeding on the brain or swelling.”
Tammin got her start in acting when she landed the role of Dani Sutherland on the long-running Australian drama Home and Away in 2000.
She worked on the soap opera until 2004 and went on to join an American soap opera, The Young and the Restless, a few years later.
She starred as Colleen Carlton on the daytime series from 2007 to 2009.
The same year she exited the beloved series, Tammin starred in the Nickelodeon musical movie, Spectacular!, opposite Nolan Gerard Funk.
