IT has been 21 years since Catherine Bell had a starring role opposite Jim Carrey in the 2003 film, Bruce Almighty.
Now aged 55, the star who is still a jobbing actress in film and television, has hardly aged a day.
Catherine who had a memorable moment in the film as a news anchor, still has the flawless good looks and fabulous figure that brought her to the attention of Hollywood back in the early noughties.
Turning out on the red carpet at media event in New York last December, the actress looked sensational in a pale green midi dress, her glossy dark hair in a stylish bob, looking far younger than her 55 years.
After her appearance in Bruce Almighty she reprised her news anchor role in the spin off film, Evan Almighty in 2007.
But shortly after that the film roles seemed to dry up, so Bell chose to focus on television.
Meanwhile her old co-star Jim Carrey’s career continued to rise, with his award winning role in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in 2004 which showed his range and versatility, as well as AChristmas Carol and Sonic the Hedgehog.
The 62-year-old actor is said to have amassed a personal fortune of more than 20 million dollars.
Meanwhile Catherine Bell appears to have carved out a decent career in television staring in the TV series Army Wives as well as The Good Witch, Law and Order as well as a recurring role of Lt Col Sarah MacKenzie in NCSI Los Angeles between 2019 and 2020.
The TV star whose mother was Persian, is now a practicing Scientologist and lives in California with her husband and two children.
