On Saturday, Melissa, 53, posed on the red carpet outside the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California.
The Emmy-winning actress donned a form-fitting metallic-esque dress that showed off her fit figure.
The floor-length dress featured ruffled sleeves that gleamed like chrome as it caught the light from the photographers’ cameras.
Melissa sported full-glam makeup for the Hollywood event and allowed her warm brunette hair to fall naturally over her shoulders.

MELISSA’S STRUGGLES
Melissa has faced decades of scrutiny over her figure while being in the spotlight.
She once told People magazine that after she landed her role on Gilmore Girls, she attempted a doctor-supervised all-liquid diet, which led her to lose 70 pounds in four months.
“I’d never do that again. I felt starved and crazy half the time,” she said.
Over the next decade, Melissa’s weight tended to fluctuate, but she has since reportedly lost more than 75 pounds.
She says her weight loss secret has nothing to do with insane diets, calorie restriction, or intense workout regimens.
While upping her protein and getting more exercise have played a role in the past, a shift in her mindset has played the biggest role.
She shared on CBS This Morning, “I finally said [to myself], ‘Oh for God sakes, stop worrying about it, and it may be the best thing I’ve ever done.”
“I truly stopped worrying about [my weight].
“I stopped over-analyzing, over-thinking, over-doing anything…I just stopped constantly being worried about it and I think there’s something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked.”
