Reba McEntire helped kick off the 2024 Super Bowl by singing a passionate rendition of the National Anthem at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
The Queen of Country delivered a powerful performance, imbuing “The Star Spangled Banner” with her signature contralto drawl. She was joined by Coda actor Daniel Durant, who signed the song in American Sign Language (ASL). Watch the event below.
Reba was just one of several highly anticipated acts at Super Bowl LVIII. Grammy-winning rapper and singer Post Malone helped kick off the pre-game celebrations with “America the Beautiful,” while R&B artist Andra Day brought the crowd together with her stirring rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
Usher will later take the stage to headline the Super Bowl Halftime show. The “U Got It Bad” artist will be embarking on his “Past Present Future Tour” later this year to celebrate his upcoming album, COMING HOME. You can grab your seats to one of his upcoming shows here.
