KELLY Clarkson has called out Beetlejuice director Tim Burton for gifting star Catherine O’Hara a “random but memorable” wedding gift.

On Kelly’s show last week, Catherine opened up about meeting her husband, Bo Welch, on the set of her 1988 horror-comedy, Beetlejuice.
She explained how he was a production designer on the film and the two would talk every day.
While chatting with the movie’s director, Tim Burton, Catherine ended up mentioning that she was upset Bo never asked her out on a date.
He told her he would see what he could do about that, and, soon enough, Bo asked Catherine to hang out.
“But Tim was right, he made it happen,” the actress told Kelly.
The host said she loved that Tim helped set the couple up but was shocked by the strange present the director gave them when they got married in 1992.
He gifted Catherine and Bo a tour of the Vatican.
The 69-year-old actress, who’s preparing for the Beetlejuice sequel movie, made sure to note to Kelly that it wasn’t just a regular tour but a private one.

“But that is the most random wedding gift I’ve ever heard of,” Kelly insisted.
Catherine detailed the tour, sharing, “A priest took us around, and he got yelled at at one point…because we were in the pope’s closet.”
She added that they also got to check out his personal elevator, as well as the room that housed all the gifts to the Vatican from other countries.
Even after hearing her guest’s story, Kelly maintained that it was still a “random gift” but added it was at least “very memorable.”
Aside from chatting about Catherine’s relationship details on the show, Kelly’s own love life has been a hot topic on the daytime program recently.
After a clip of Aquaman star Jason Momoa, 44, on the show dropped a few weeks ago, fans began wondering if he and Kelly are secretly dating Jason could make a great date for Kelly.
The talk show host split from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, 47, in 2020 after seven years of marriage.
Comments rolled in when The Kelly Clarkson Show’s official Instagram page shared a sweet video of Jason seemingly flirting with Kelly ahead of the episode.
“Kelly Clarkson! Momma, imma see you soon. Right now, I’m in Shanghai!” the actor said in the clip.
“See you soon, baby,” Jason added, winking at the camera.
Kelly gushed over Jason’s upcoming appearance on the show in the caption which read: “KELLY CLARKSON! T-minus 2 days and 7,000 miles…”
Fans couldn’t get over the pair’s sweet exchange and thought they would make the perfect couple.
“Does he call everyone baby, and momma… or is this Kelly’s new man?” one person wondered.
“This needs to be Kelly’s new man. Oh my God, I can see it. I think they would be great for each other,” another remarked.
A third commented: “Yes! Jason and Kelly need to get married now.”
