BRINEY Spears fans have slammed Justin Timberlake for his supposed apology at his concert in New York.
Footage from Justin‘s concert has resurfaced online on an Instagram fan account.
On Wednesday night, the Cry Me A River hitmaker performed at a packed crowd at Irving Plaza.
In the brief clip, the Britney Spears‘ ex moved around the stage while his band played on.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f***ing nobody.”
“Yes. He apologized to Britney on this video,” the text stated.
THE BACKLASH
Although the audience cheered, critics in the comments section blasted the singer for his “insincere and cruel attitude.”
“Britney once again is the better person. Choosing kindness and forgiveness over bitterness and resentment,” one critic said.
“I agree. Britney took the high road while Justin’s rolling around in the muck,” another critic added.
“Justin really isn’t winning any points. And Britney even praised his song Selfish. Girl doesn’t even need to look back at this small man,” a fourth critic wrote.
“Justin is such trash. How unlikeable he is!” a commentator chimed.
THE MEMOIR
The Social Network actor continues to face backlash from Britney’s memoir, The Woman in Me.
Late last year, in her tell-all book, Britney claimed Justin got her pregnant during their relationship, which lasted from 1999 to 2002.
The Toxic singer decided to have an abortion – a decision Justin supported and even pushed her into, which she later regretted.
Britney also revealed that she knew Justin allegedly cheated on her with another female celebrity – whom she did not name.
“Justin owns who he was when he and Britney were together, even though his personality, career, lifestyle, and personal priorities are radically different now 20 years later,” an insider shared with The U.S. Sun.
“This book is a nightmare for him because of how it throws the whole family into chaos. The timing stings as much as the revelation itself.”
THEY ARE FINE
However, NSYNC bandmate Lance Bass revealed the feud between the exes has been supposedly “resolved.”
He insisted to The U.S. Sun that “they don’t care. They are good.”
Speaking exclusively on-camera at the annual Environmental Media Association Awards in Los Angeles, Lance felt their personal woes were “just life”.
When asked how the famous couple solved their differences, Lance said: “Well, the problem is they’ve already sorted it out and everyone just forgets.
“No, they are fine. They support each other. They love each other in their own ways.
“He has apologized. She is amazing. It’s just like everyone. This has happened already.”
“So I think just people like to keep fights going but look at the people that are in the fight. They don’t care. They’re good,” Lance concluded.
