THE Bold and the Beautiful star Darin Brooks has come back to the soap opera to resume the role of Wyatt.
Darin’s performance on The Bold and the Beautiful earned him multiple Emmy nominations over the years.

Darin, 39, discussed his return to the long-running daytime program while he was doing a live stream with Michael Fairman, 89.
“It is what it is. You know, I’ve been in this business for a long time and know soaps and I know things change and stories move and everything just kind of changes sometimes,” he said.
“I was there for 10 years, you know, and it’s like my second family. And I’ll always remember and never forget all the stuff that I experienced there.
“[Executive Producer/Head Writer] Brad Bell and the family and everybody just sort of created an incredible past 10 years for me.”
The actor came back to The Bold and The Beautiful for two episodes last week, following his departure from the show in 2023.
Darin later confessed that he was surprised that The Bold and The Beautiful showrunners had contacted him to reprise his character for the two shows.
“I didn’t expect it, either; I thought that was sort of it after I’d, you know, chatted with them and then put the post up there,” the entertainer disclosed.
“I thought they weren’t going to use me for anything.”

As of now, Darin is unsure if the episodes conclude Wyatt’s storyline permanently.
“I don’t know, maybe they did write that as sort of just a little bit of a good-bye, you know?” he questioned.
“But I’m not sure. They’re doing different things now [with the canvas], and I get that.”
WELCOMED BACK
Fans were happy to see actor Darin back on their screen in the role but furious after discovering he appeared to be leaving the show again.
He announced his exit from the soap in October with a heartfelt tribute on social media.
Darin expressed his gratitude for a wonderful 10-year run and promised he wasn’t gone for good.
True to his word, he returned to The Bold and the Beautiful in Wednesday’s episode.
Fans speculate the character only came back to be properly written out.
“If I leave town, is that something you can get behind,” he asked his father.
“Well, I’m not happy about it, I like having my sons close,” Bill admitted. “But if it’s something you feel you need to do for yourself, then who am I to stand in your way?”
Wyatt thanked his father and told him he’d even already found a new renter for the house for after he leaves.
The Bold and the Beautiful fans think Wyatt is now leaving for good and are furious it appeared he only came back to the show just to exit again.

“What a waste,” one angry viewer said of Darin’s departure as Wyatt.
“Why would they bring him back just to say goodbye,” a second upset fan tweeted. “That’s why I get mad because Darin Brooks is a talented actor.”
“That sucks. But at least they were kind enough to give him a goodbye instead of just acting like his character no longer exists,” a second wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
A few months ago, Darin addressed his exit from the soap and teased his return.
“Until we meet again… So, many of you have seen that I am no longer in the credits on @boldandbeautifulcbs and after 10 amazing years, it’s time for me to say ‘Until we meet again…’ to Wyatt Spencer,” he wrote on Instagram.
Darin added, “Doesn’t mean it’s the end, just… bye for now.”
“The experiences, the trips, the memories, the friendships… All will forever hold a special place in my heart,” he went on. “To the Spencer men, Scott and Don, you’re like family to me in real life so I’ll see ya soon (off set).”
