PEDRO Pascal’s fighting talk toward a fellow actor while live-on-air has been revealed.
The Game of Thrones alum’s speech was censored after he made a wild claim about Kieran Culkin, 41, at the Emmy Awards.
In the viral moment, Pedro, 48, was up on stage presenting the role for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
While Kieran wasn’t in the running for the award – with it eventually going to his Succession co-star Matthew Macfadyen – Pedro couldn’t resist bringing him into the narrative.
Pedro presented the award with his arm in a sling, and wildly joked that Kieran was behind the injury.
A lot of people have been asking about my arm, it’s actually my shoulder. And I think tonight is a perfect time to tell everyone that Kieran Culkin beat the sh*t out of me.
After Pedro dropped his bomb, the camera immediately caught Kieran in the audience, who kept a completely straight face as he stared menacingly at Pedro.
However, he wasn’t able to keep it up for long, soon bursting into laughter with the rest of the celebrity audience.
Pedro’s joke came as a clapback after Kieran playfully targeted him during the Golden Globes.
At the show, Kieran won the award for Best Male Actor in a Drama Television Series for his work in Succession, beating out Pedro who was nominated for The Last of Us.
During his speech, Kieran boldly said, “Suck it, Pedro, sorry,” before flourishing his award and shouting, “Mine!”
FAN FAVES
Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, fans didn’t hold back as they commented on the hilarious new moment between the film stars.
“PEDRO PASCAL IS SO UNSERIOUS,” exclaimed one viewer.
“Pedro Pascal and Kieran Culkin are the only ones that actually funny among all those award shows we’ve seen YES,” wrote a second fan.
“They should alternate as hosts and constantly roast each other next year,” agreed a third.
“Kieran having the most serious look on his face got me GASPING OMFG,” joked one social media user about Kieran’s expert straight face.
“Please let this ‘rivalry’ be a running joke for years to come,” begged a fifth.
“WE are the true winners of this award season for getting Pedro Pascal and Kieran Culkin’s friendship actually,” another fan stated.
SPEAKING OUT
While Pedro has a huge fan base due to his happy-go-lucky personality, he had to fight claims of poor behavior back when he first starred in The Mandalorian.
An insider claimed he became “difficult” on set of the Disney+ show after he wasn’t allowed to remove his helmet for more scenes.
However, Pedro slammed the claims on BBC‘s The One Show, saying, “That is not true, actually.
“It’s a really wonderful way of telling the story. It’s always been a very clear creed for the character and the collaborative process of the whole thing, we’ve all been on the same page with this.
“So what I want is for them to make the best show possible, however they get that done.”
