TAMMY Slaton has revealed that she had a pregnancy scare after her weight loss surgery due to new cravings.
In the most recent episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy, 37, went to an OBGYN’s office to see if she could conceive a child.
While she was there, she dropped several bombshells about her reproductive health.
While speaking to the doctor, Tammy shared that she previously had an IUD put in.
IUDs are a type of birth control device that are good for three to eight years depending on the brand.
The TLC star revealed that she was supposed to have it removed back in 2016, but still had it in about seven years later.
In a confessional, Tammy’s sister Amy Slaton guessed that she’s had the IUD in for about 12 years.
When questioned further, Tammy revealed that she didn’t have it removed because of her size.
When she got the IUD put in place, that was the last time she saw an OBGYN.
After that, she also revealed that she can’t remember the last time she got her period.

DROP THE BOMB
After, Tammy also admitted: “There could be a slight chance that I might be pregnant now.”
The doctor asked her why she thinks she’s pregnant, and Tammy said: “I’ve been craving weird things that I’m not normally craving.”
As an example, she said she was “craving water.”
In a confessional, Amy, who was in the room during the appointment, said: “B***h, you ain’t pregnant you’re thirsty.
“You’re just thirsty b***h, go drink some water. It’ll be alright.”
Plus, the doctor said that Tammy hasn’t been ovulating and therefore probably wouldn’t be able to get pregnant at that time.
If ovulation was occurring, she would be getting her period.
But, the doctor said there was hope that her cycle would start up again as she continued to lose weight.
The doctor then scheduled her for an ultrasound and an appointment to get her IUD removed.
‘BRUTAL’
Fans of Tammy on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared their concern for the television star on the platform.
One said: “Tammy had the same iud in for how long??? Girl.”
“See she’s missing the two most important things u need to make a baby a period and a husband that actually sleeps with you. But she is craving water so we could be wrong?” asked another.
A third said: “Well get it girl, handicapable! I’m scared of you and that IUD.”
“Can’t believe Tammy has had an IUD inside her for 12 years!” said a fourth.
A fifth commented: “Those first few periods are probably gonna be brutal.”
A fan wrote: “I’m sorry but did Tammy miss the lecture when Amy got pregnant so soon after surgery?”
After Amy got her weight loss surgery, she was advised not to get pregnant for a few years because it could be dangerous while still recovering from the procedure.
Amy got pregnant only a few months later, and Tammy also started on the path to having children soon after her procedure.
