Some fans get so hooked on the game it has been cited in divorce papers as a contributing factor in marriage breakdowns
WONKA actor Timothée Chalamet got a real kick out of shooting the movie — as he got hooked on the Football Manager computer game.
The Hollywood idol, 28, was like a kid in a candy store after British co-star Tom Davis introduced him to it during filming breaks.
Comedian Tom, 44, revealed Timothée was impressed by him taking an Italian second division side to the brink of the Champions League in the management simulator.
Tom said: “I’m showing him how it works and, no joke, three days later he’s got his Mac and is like, ‘This game is f*****g amazing and addictive.’
“He started managing Reims in the French league.”
The game, formerly known as Championship Manager, is played by over five million users every year.
Some get so hooked it has been cited in divorce papers as a contributing factor in marriage breakdowns — which could be a worry for Timothée’s girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, 26.
Half-French Timothée, who plays the lead role of Willy Wonka in the musical fantasy about a chocolate factory, also got into the FIFA footie video.
Speaking to the Always Be Comedy podcast, Tom added: “He had this insane trailer and we’d just sit in there and play FIFA.
“He’s just a normal kid.”
