HOME Alone fans have been left stunned after learning how much the film’s iconic pizza order would cost today.
In the holiday classic, Kevin McCallister’s (Macaulay Culkin) brother Buzz (Devin Ratray) is tasked with ordering enough pizza for the family, which cost quite a bit at the time but would now truly break the bank.
The McCallister family were big spenders in Home Alone, with dad Peter (John Heard) and mom Kate (Catherine O’Hara) shelling out for a trip to Paris, lavish gifts and some truly decadent meals.
At one point in the film, Kevin’s big brother Buzz orders the family $122.50 worth of pizza from Little Nero’s, according to Esquire.
The film was released in 1990 and set around the same time.
Since then, the United States has seen the prices of goods, including food, rise significantly.
Today, that same order would run the McCallister family a whopping $288.
BIG SPENDERS
That’s not the only place the McCallister family threw down the big bucks.
Their American Airlines flight for 15 from Chicago to Paris on Christmas day, which included 11 coach tickets and four first-class ones, would cost about $35,320.
Esquire also estimated that it would have cost Kevin’s father about $1,200 to fix the basement stairs Kevin destroyed protecting himself during the film.

RAW REUNION
Macaulay was recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles early this month.
During his acceptance speech, he thanked his fiancée Brenda Song, 35, saying: “You’re not only the best woman I’ve ever known, you’re the best person I’ve ever known.”
The couple welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Carson, in December 2022.
They kept the happy news quiet, not revealing his arrival until March of this year.
They are also parents to a son called Dakota, whom they welcomed in April 2021.
That wasn’t the only touching moment during the ceremony.
Macaulay reunited with on-screen mom Catherine, 69, at the event.
The pair shared a sweet embrace and posed for pictures together.
