We looked at his lower back and general tension with some mobility programming. I’m always coming at the body at more of a fix that and then build it kind of approach.”
Anna Torv played Tess on the show. She talked about how she got into acting with The Sydney Morning Herald. “My mother instilled in me a sense of self-worth, that I could do anything – but she also made sure she only encouraged the things I was good at and knew I wasn’t going to be a scientist or a mathematician.”
Melanie Lynskey played Kathleen Coghlan on the show. She hit back at people body-shaming her on Twitter, writing. “Most egregious are the ‘I care about her health!!’ people…bitch you don’t see me on my Peloton! You don’t see me running through the park with my child. Skinny does not always equal healthy.”
Gabriel Luna played Tommy on the show. He also worked on Terminator: Dark Fate, and shared how he got in shape for the film to Blackfilm.com. “It wasn’t until I really started training with the trainer they provided me and the nutritionist that I was able to see the gains and to see my body change. It was really interesting because Josephine was my first trainer, and she comes from a bit of a CrossFit background in power lifting. So she helped me shed a lot of body weight and to start to strengthen my skeletal muscles and build lean muscle. Then in Madrid, I had a trainer named Rafa and he was also a bit of a CrossFit guy, but as a male, he also was a bit of a heavier lifter, so he started to get my body lifting heavier weights. Then of course, in Budapest, I had Adam. He comes from a bodybuilding background.“
Merle Dandridge played Marlene on both the show and in the video game. She shared her fitness secrets with E! News. “My trainer, Amoila Cesar, gets lots of results out of me by appealing to my no quit, competitive side. He yells and I love it. During quarantine, I got my fix by doing his 6 Weeks of THE WORK on Beachbody on Demand. I also love a rigorous barre class and need daily yoga.”
Bella Ramsey played the leading role of Ellie on the show. In an interview with The Guardian, they said that they don’t pay attention to social media. “I detach myself from it now. There’s an element of it that isn’t quite real. The problem is that when your validation and self-worth is being interpreted through the attention on social media it can be addictive.”
Lamar Johnson plays Henry Burrell on the show. He talked about his fitness secrets with Valet Magazine. “I usually workout three times a week. Always in the mornings. I think working out early really gives you energy, gets your mind right and is a great way to step into your work day. Plus, there are no excuses later when things get busy.“
