Who is Liam Aaron McDermott?
Liam Aaron McDermott, 16, is the eldest child of actors Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.
The pair welcomed Liam on March 13, 2007, in a Los Angeles, California hospital.
Tori’s mother Candy Spelling told People at the time of his birth: “Words can’t describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event.
“I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it.”

Liam’s early years were captured on his parents’ reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, which aired on Oxygen for four seasons from March 2007 to January 2012.
In a June 15, 2019 Instagram post, Tori celebrated her son’s elementary school graduation, writing: “One of the proudest days of my life as a mom this past week… graduation!

Later in a February 22, 2020 Instagram post, Tori revealed that Liam and her daughter Stella Doreen were victims of bullying.
Alongside a baby picture of the siblings, she wrote: “My two 1st born… they have been thru so much bullying I can no longer not share and express ourselves.”
She continued, in part: “Liam, my 1st born, is a fiesty funny guy. 2 thumbs up in this pic at 2 years old.
“He graduated last year from Encino but not without the principal telling us he was ‘ unmotivated ‘ & lazy. Poor guy thought from way he was treated by her that he was ‘stupid’. Beyond not the case. He is a hilarious, smart, outgoing, and a creative kind guy!

People reported that Liam has dyed his hair different colors, like orange and blue, which he has shared on Instagram.

Tori took to her Instagram story to reveal that Liam was having foot surgery on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
Per People, she wrote: “My 1st baby waiting to go into foot surgery. Not sure who’s more nervous him or mama.”
Addressing her eldest son, she continued: “Proud of your bravery. And things can only get better after this.”
While she did not initially reveal why Liam needed surgery, she later took to her Instagram Story once again to share more details.
According to Us Weekly, on Thursday, December 14, she wrote: “To everyone that’s asked…Liam fell down the stairs at home and has been in pain and immobile since 6 weeks + Liam’s navicular accessory fractured bone in right foot needed to be removed and then tendon reattached to his main bone with a metal hook rod.”
Tori also shared that the surgery went well and thanked “Dr. Gifford our amazing foot & ankle surgeon and her team at Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital.”
How many children does Tori Spelling have?
Tori has five kids with her ex Dean, including sons Liam, Finn Davey, and Beau Dean, and daughters Stella Doreen and Hattie Margaret.
