After commencing a residency at The Capitol Theatre on Tuesday, Dec. 12, Bobby Weir and Wolf Bros. return to the esteemed Port Chester, N.Y. venue for their follow-up on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Similarly to night one, Weir stepped out solo for an acoustic start, and slowly added players to the stage as they cascaded through material associated with the bandleader’s storied career.

At the end of the initial frame, Weir welcomed Ron Carter to add to a pair of tunes: the Grateful Dead’s “Dark Star” and “Scarlet Begonias.” Maintaining a similar theme, the staged players integrated fan-favorite picks into the latter half of the concert, including a mash-up of Beatles classics, including “Come Together” with an “Eleanor Rigby” jam.

The band took Thursday night off and will continue their residency tonight with another sold-out stand in Port Chester, N.Y. Saturday night is also sold out; tickets remain on sale for Sunday, Dec. 17. Visit bobweir.net, for more information.
