As one half of Chloe x Halle — her older sister, Chloe Bailey, is the other — Halle has already spent years song-writing, performing, and receiving Grammy Award nominations for her work. Did I mention Halle just turned 22?
Well, Halle noticed some rumors circulating about her on social media this week that were unrelated to her career, and instead speculated about whether or not she’s had cosmetic surgery.

Halle addressed the claims immediately, and honestly shut them down in the best way.
“Lmaooo not y’all thinking I got boob implants whattt,” she tweeted last night. “No ma’am God gave me these and gave Chloe the booty.”

Halle posted an additional tweet two minutes later that seemed to adequately sum up her feelings about the whole thing.

We love that Halle was able to call this out so directly. But also, can we please stop the gossip about other people’s bodies? Because there is really no need.
