It’s almost time to check out of the “Hotel California.”
In mid-July, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Eagles announced their 2023 ‘Long Goodbye Tour’ will be their last.
As of now, the band has only 21 arena concerts lined up on the farewell tour.
That includes gigs at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8, Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Sept. 16 and Sept. 17 and Long Island’s UBS Arena on Sept. 20.
There may be more though — the band has that the trek could extend into 2025 depending on demand.
While we wait for new dates, how much does it cost to see Joe Walsh, Don Henley and the rest of the legendary band live one last time?
Based on our findings, the cheapest tickets we could find were $175 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication,
Most shows have seats starting in the $200 to $300 range.
Still, it’s hard to put a price on hearing all your favorites like “New Kid In Town,” “Life In The Fast Lane,” “Witchy Woman,” “Heartache Tonight,” “Desperado” and so many more live one last time.
Plus, as an added bonus, fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Steely Dan will be at all shows serving as the opening act.

The Eagles band members
When you’ve been living life in the fast lane since 1971 (!), a bit of shuffling when it comes to your group’s lineup is to be expected.
Still, to this day, 75-year-old, founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to tour with the group.
On the road, he’ll be joined by 75-year-old Joe Walsh (also of the James Gang), 75-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist, played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner 65-year-old Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 30-year-old son Deacon.
Over the course of their illustrious career, the band has racked up six Grammy awards, performed over 1000 concerts and sold 150 million albums.
Not too shabby.

These days, the band is led by Donald Fagen; his co-founder Walter Becker passed away in 2017.
