He set a record as the first male skater from Brazil to compete at the senior World level, a feat he attained when he competed at the 2008 Four Continents Championships. He started his skating journey quite early and competed in the Canadian domestic arena before switching to represent his mom’s country, Brazil. He placed 26th at the 2008 Four Continents Championships and barely a month later, he became the first skater to represent Brazil at the 2008 World Junior Championships where he placed 36th.
