It’s about to get funky.

Kool and the Gang, celebrating their 60th anniversary in 2024, are heading out on a quick 15-concert tour that will take them to venues all over North America from May through October 2024.

That includes a stop in both New York and New Jersey for the “Jungle Boogie” legends.

On Friday, May 12 they’ll “Get Down On It” at Westbury, NY’s NYCB Theatre.

Two months later, Kool and The Gang will celebrate “Ladies Night” at Atlantic City, NJ’s Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on July 21.

Best of all, ticket prices to see the Grammy-winning group live are shockingly cheap.

At the time of publication, we found some seats going for as low as $30 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Now that’s cause for “Celebration.”

Kool and the Gang new music

In July, Kool and the Gang will drop their 34th studio album “People Just Wanna Have Fun.”

If you want a sample of the disco-inflected record, check out the lead single “Let’s Party” featuring Sha Sha Jones here.

“You’ve got the funk, the jazzier tracks; we have a few ballads on there,” said lead singer and founder Robert “Kool” Bell in a press release about the new album.

“Then there are songs that cross over to a pop sort of thing. We go from the ‘70s, the ‘80s, right into now. It’s old school, it’s new school — we kinda captured it all here. With all our music over the years, people have had fun. So I’d say this album just about sums it all up.”

The band is missing original members Ronald “Khalis” Bell and Dennis “D.T.” Thomas; the two passed away in 2020 and 2021, respectively
