Demi Lovato is sharing a private moment to raise awareness about an important topic.
The 30-year-old “Tell Me You Love Me” pop star shared a photo of herself crying on social media on Thursday night (May 4).
They did so to shine light on Mental Health Awareness Month, which is taking place in May.

Demi shared the photo on their Instagram story. In it, they are resting their chin on their hand and making direct eye contact with the camera. Mascara smudges and her bright eyes make it obvious that she was crying.
“Not every day is a good day and that’s okay,” she wrote, including a hashtag for Mental Health Awareness Month.
The singer has long been an advocate for discussing mental health and helping those who are struggling. They launched The Mental Health Fund during the pandemic to help those who were struggling in the early months of lockdown.
