The new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is in full swing. And cast member Melissa Gorga is making sure to advertise the show. She shared a stunning new set of photos from The Bahamas on Instagram. In them, Gorga posed on the beach and the deck in a white bathing suit with pink flowers, a white cover-up, a red hat, and sunglasses. Gorga revealed some of her wellness secrets to UsWeekly. She says that she makes sure to use sunscreen. “I actually look funny because if you ever see me out in my backyard or at the beach, my face is always pure white,” she starts. “I will put, like, [SPF] 30 on my skin. I just naturally have, you know, olive skin. So it gets dark, but I usually put, like, a [SPF] 15 to 30 on my body, but my chest and my face are always covered in zinc.”
Gorga makes sure to drink a lot of water. She tells UsWeekly that one of her biggest wellness secrets is staying hydrated. “I just drink so much water,” she says. “So … I know it’s such, like, a cliche, but it’s so true. It’s one of the truest things for your skin and for the flushing out of your body.”
Gorga spends a lot of time at the beach. As a part of her role on Real Housewives, Gorga goes on cast trips to different beach locations. She was even a member on Peacock’s spin-off Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, where she and other Housewives enjoyed a trip to Turks and Caicos. Naturally, Gorga likes to swim to stay in shape. She celebrated her older sister’s birthday with a beach day, and shared these highlights of themselves in the water on Instagram.
Gorga does a lot of fun things with her castmates. One thing she does with them is go rollerskating. She shared this video on Instagram of herself skating at a party for the show. She captioned the post, “It’s the 80’s for me.” She also posted this video of herself skating with fellow cast member Dolores Catania, her husband Joe, and some other friends.
Gorga isn’t afraid to speak up about things that are important to her. After the school shooting in Texas last year, she shared this photo calling for an end to these things happening. Gorga captioned the post, “This has to stop. I’m praying.🙏🏼 My heart is with those families right now. I can not even begin to imagine.”
