Megan Is In A Lawsuit With Her Former Record Label
Before Megan signed her management agreement with Roc Nation in 2019, she was caught up with several issues concerning her former record label, 1501 Entertainment. She had spoken about her problems with the label on her Instagram severally and expressed her desire to be free of it.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the “Thot Shit” rapper alleged that she has never received any payment from her former label “in her life.” She recently sued 1501 Entertainment again for refusing to allow her to fulfill the terms stated in her contract with them.
She also sought a ruling that her music project “Something for Thee Hotties” meets an album’s legal definition and requirements. In response, the music label countersued for breach of contract and stated the project doesn’t constitute an album.
