About six months ago, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald welcomed their fourth child into the world, Fern Elliana Seewald.
Months before Jessa officially announced that she was expecting, fans had already been speculating that she might be pregnant again. As it turned out, they were correct, so could they be right again?
New fan theories suggest that Jessa could be pregnant again with baby #5, but it appears she might be ready to address the rumors head-on.

If you follow Jessa Duggar on Instagram, you’ll notice that she and her husband, Ben Seewald, have bought a new home. It’s a fixer-upper, so there will be some time before the family moves into the new house.
Jessa shared a video of the home on Instagram and YouTube, and we have to say it looks gorgeous! There is plenty of room for their family to expand, and fans are wondering if that’s what motivated them to purchase the new house.
In the video where Jessa showed off the home, viewers caught a glimpse of a very pregnant Jessa, who was filming, in the mirror!
Many Instagram followers noticed and wondered if Jessa was pregnant again. Turns out, the video was a few months old and was taken before she gave birth to Fern.
From the size of the baby bump, it would be almost impossible for Jessa to be that pregnant after only giving birth six months ago anyways, so fans might just be impatient for another Seewald baby!
Jessa hasn’t directly responded to the rumors, but on March 23, she shared a full body photo that does not feature a baby bump…at all.
“We’re doing some morning household chores and sleepy Fern is tagging along. Those tender little eyes peeking out of the baby carrier get me every time,” Jessa captioned the mirror shot.
And although some fans might be upset to see that Jessa isn’t pregnant again, others have admired how easy it looks for her to shed the post-baby weight.
“What is your secret to losing baby weight?? You look great!!” one Instagram commenter wrote.
Others commented on how great it is to be able to carry a child on her back rather than the front, but everyone was supportive of the mother-of-four nonetheless.
Jessa and Ben welcomed their baby girl back in July and shared the journey with fans on YouTube.
In their birth video, Jessa and Ben revealed that Jessa started having contractions on July 13. Jessa had her first three children at home, but this time opted to give birth in a hospital.
“Ben and I have been sitting on the gender here for forever — months and months — and you’d think we’d have a name by now. But it’s harder than it seems,” Jessa said in the video. “I feel like the more kids you have, the more you’ve used up, you know, the favorites.”
She said that she’s had a hard time reusing old name suggestions for her previous children because she no longer likes them.
“I look back on my name list from previous pregnancies and I’m just like, they don’t really just — none of them are just like, ‘wow.’ So I kind of start from scratch,” she said. “And Ben too….the first two kids were five days old before we settled on a name!”
“There’s a name I really liked,” Jessa added. “And Ben thought it sounded like a pilgrim name. And he said no.”
But early Sunday morning, Jessa started having more severe contractions.
“I would say they’re like, on a scale of one to 10, probably like a seven or an eight. But they’re still spaced out, so I get a break,” she said in the video. “Definitely feel like the real deal to me. I tend to feel the real labor contractions more in my back and that’s what these have been.”
