Catherine Zeta-Jones is letting fans know that she is more than that phenomenal actress who stole our hearts as Izabella Scorupco in the 1998 movie, “Mask of Zorro.”
The Hollywood beauty showed off her impressive vocals in a recent Instagram video and fans can’t seem to get enough of her.
Catherine Zeta-Jones Flaunts Her Singing Skills
On Monday, March 21, Zeta-Jones took to Instagram to upload a video of her doing a cover to a song by Rickie Lee Jones. The Welsh star was in her element, rocking a makeup-free look as she sat by the grand piano in her home and played soulfully.
She looked so graceful in a patterned bell-sleeved top paired with as she belted out tunes while giving fans a glimpse of her stunning home New York home.
The stunning vintage piano, believed to be an ‘Art Deco 1939 Deluxe Wurlitzer Butterfly Piano, was situated in a corner of Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas’ living room, which also contained several luxurious art pieces.
From inside the living room, fans could see the hallway, the pillared detailing, and plush white curtains. The New York home which rests on a 12-acre Westchester County estate was purchased in 2019 by the couple for a whopping $4.5 million. It was even featured in an issue of Architectural Digest.
The 2-minute-30-second clip ended with Zeta-Jones playing a melody on the piano. She captioned the heartwarming clip, “A little Rikkie Lee Jones by Catherine Zeta-Jones on a Monday ( not Saturday) afternoon 🎶 “
Fans were blown away by the actress’ singing talent and took to the comments section to gush about it. One fan wrote, “So heartwarming… thank you for serenading us today, and helping to chase away any “Monday blues”: lovely rendition of this Rickie Lee Jones song, Cath. 💙 🎹 🦋 .”
Another user added, “You are so beautiful and so talented, you are amazing, always been a huge fan ❤️🔥👏 .”
The ‘Entrapment’ Star Can Also Dance!
Singing is just one of the many talents the 52-year-old possesses. As The Blast previously reported, in 2020, Zeta-Jones showed that she is a marvelous dancer during a Charades game with her family.
The award-winning star while trying to depict the Colombian singer, decided it was best to dance like her, hoping it would make the interpretation clear.
However, it seemed the reverse was the case and no one got it. In the hilarious clip, Zeta-Jone made quite an effort, swinging her hips from side to side, dancing to “Seven Year Scratch” by Madness while donning black shimmery pants with matching dark shirts.
She hilariously captioned the post, “Charades gone wrong? I was Shakira “hips don’t lie!! Genius! No one got it. 😩 .” Again, fans commended Zeta-Jones’ talent, saying she danced similarly to the iconic “Hips Don’t Lie” singer.
Zeta-Jones And Husband Michael Douglas Have Been Married For Over Two Decades
When Zeta-Jones isn’t dancing or singing, she dotes on her lovely family which comprises her husband Douglas and their two kids, Carys Zeta and Dylan Michael.
Last November, the actress, and her man celebrated 21 years of love with heartwarming tributes to each other on social media.
The “Ant Man” actor shared a heart-melting video montage of his and Zeta-Jones’ sweetest life moments since walking down the aisle in 2000.
The clip began with the lovebirds on the dancing floor on their wedding day and then transitioned to show several lovely moments, especially of those on them loving up on several red carpets.
There were also shots of the doting couple during numerous vacations. Douglas sweetly captioned the post, “Happy Anniversary my darling Catherine! I love you so much @catherinezetajones ❤️ #21years.”
The “Legend of Zorro” star returned the favor sharing a lovely black-and-white throwback photo of her and Douglas with their hands wrapped around one another. In the accompanying caption, she gushed, “Happy anniversary Michael. For 21 years you have had my back! For over 21 years we have had our love. Love you sweetheart.”
